First visit to Suffolk. Cottage and grounds surpassed our expectations (even better than it looked on the internet). Fantastic pool which made our children’s holiday. Especially at night with the pool lit up, swimming under the stars. It doesn’t get better than that!!……..We found Suffolk to be very unspoilt and not crowded compared to N. Devon which made for a very relaxing holiday.

Think this is probably the best cottage we have ever stayed in (and we must have stayed in 40+!) Great location, fantastic facilities and very welcoming hosts. Couldn’t have asked for better weather either…much better than Devon or Cornwall! We will be defecting to Suffolk more often.

Fantastic holiday. Beautiful accommodation, children loved the pool……great places to visit…..Saxsted, Framlingham Castle…Aldeburgh and Southwold lovely too…..Dunwich was wild and beautiful…..enjoyed the gardens at the cottage and peaceful walks with Saffy around the paddocks. Thanks again Katie and Rob for another enjoyable week with friends in Hacheston. Our fourth visit and hopefully not our last! Met Minnie the puppy and enjoyed watching the stoat playing most afternoons in the meadow, whilst Andrew and John played cricket.

Many thanks for your hospitality and friendly welcome. Excellent accommodation in a lovely setting, probably one of the best equipped cottages we’ve ever had. Visited many places and discovered some super restaurants. Look forward to our return visit………We’ve had a very good week for our second visit and look forward to coming again.

We have had a wonderful 2 weeks. Cottage and gardens really lovely. We enjoyed the heated pool and have been swimming most days. There has been plenty to do and see; we enjoyed Woodbridge, Southwold, Framlingham Castle, boat trip from Snape Maltings, row boat at Thorpeness. Loads of quality eateries & food shops…….We have had such a good time but there is too much to mention. Our best family holiday yet!

Thank you for a comfortable and relaxing stay in your cottage. Ella has enjoyed the swings and daily football games – we would love to return when the pool is open……….. Another perfect holiday. perfect cottage, perfect weather. pool enjoyed by all. Everything about this cottage says “relax” and we certainly did…….Thanks again for another enjoyable holiday. Visited some old haunt and discovered a couple of new ones….Southwold pier…..cycling around Suffolk was also very good and flat!

We guessed the heatwave would break for us! We’ve still had a great week though, the cottage is really lovely ( our best ever) and thanks Katie and Rob for your help and hospitality. We’ve made full use of the pool in spite of the weather and have enjoyed canoeing at Thorpeness, cycling in Rendlesham forest( and UFO trail), Framlingham and Orford Castles (well worth a visit) Sutton Hoo, Southwold, Aldeburgh, Fish and chips at the Ship Inn, Dunwich, Snape Maltings……..I fully recommend Katie’s Indian Head Massage – wonderfully relaxing!

Returned to Suffolk and our favourite bit of coastline….lovely cottage…discovered Bawdsey Quay and Shingle Street for the first time. Loved it…..Our children had a lovely time in the new park area and slept really well from fresh air.

Very relaxing holiday in a lovely cottage with beautiful surroundings. Seen lots of squirrels, rabbits, frogs and beautiful butterflies in the garden. Really enjoyed the pool. Thanks for bubbly, chocs and flowers they were all lovely.

Lovely holiday in beautiful surroundings. Cottage much better than we could have hoped for and Katie and Rob made us welcome from the start. We all enjoyed the pool and Fluke( the dog) thought he’d died and gone to heaven! Make sure you do the midnight swim!

Fantastic cottage – peaceful, spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated. We have enjoyed our return each evening. Seeing the dogs, rabbits and squirrels have made this a wonderful week. A marvellous holiday. We all enjoyed it to the full. Cottage and facilites excellent. Rabbits given plenty of excerise by Poppy(dog) but all survived! it was a wrench to leave.
